Nancy and Chino, two gibbons (Hylobates leucogenys) that live at Fuengirola Zoo, are the proud parents of Ares, who was born around two months ago. Gibbons are protected species and are originally from the forests of India, Indochina and the Malaysian archipelago. If you want to see the baby gibbon you’ll have to peer closely at Nancy, as these primates spend the first few months of their life hanging on tightly to their mother’s stomach.
