A new artificial lake is to be constructed on the Rio de la Valle riverbed. The lake, which will provide the largest body of water in Antequera, will occupy a previously derelict site.
The project, headed by Agustin Puche Munoz, the town’s Clerk of Works, will provide employment for the Antequera area and will cost 80,000 Euros.
The project will include landscaped lawns, pleasant walk ways and shady seating.
