A plan has been approved for the creation of a railway museum in the old station of Bobadilla.
The coalition, who put forward the plan, argued that the station is one of the most important railway junctions in all of Spain.
The station was built in 1864 and the first train ran in 1865.
Historically it has been the driving force of development for the whole Antequera area.
