Snowfalls have been the order of the day across the country again this week, reaching right down to the south of Andalucía. With the first day of spring less than three weeks away, the thermometer in some parts of the country dropped to its lowest level for decades. Thousands of people had to be rescued in heavy snow in Granada, while in Alicante, Asturias, León, Palencia and Burgos many were stranded on the roads.
