The Intention Experiment
A few weeks ago I received the following e-mail from a friend in Germany. It is about a suggestion of applying an Intention Experiment to bring blessings to Scotland. (Of course, your own experiment could be anything of your own suggestion.) I wondered where the idea had come from and she told me it was based on the Intention Experiments being promoted by Lynn McTaggart, author of one of the most amazing books in current time, The Field.
The Law of Synchronicity says that things happen for a reason and often if we get the same message in the course of a few days, we are meant to sit up and take notice. Well, a few days after receiving this e-mail, I found myself at a forum in Barcelona – the 1st European Forum for a New Humanity. And one of the guest speakers was Lynn McTaggart, talking of her Intention Experiment.

Meanwhile here is the unedited e-mail I received.
Healing Scotland
At a time when there is much doom and gloom being broadcast we thought it was time to redress the balance and give people something positive on which to focus. Our aim is to help bring about a healthy, happy and positive Scotland, now and for the future.
To this end we have set up a Positive Thinking Group aimed at flooding positive thoughts and energies into the land, its people and every aspect of Scotland, on all levels. The purpose of our activities is to raise the Light or positive energy levels and thus help clear the more negative or denser energies. We believe it is important to focus on the positive rather than try to address specific blackspots, eg homelessness, unemployment etc, and this way all will benefit.
Many of those interested in becoming involved are not healers but are aware of the power of positive thinking. As any athlete will tell you, success relies on being totally focussed on the goal and believing 100% that it is achievable. If you don’t try, you’ll never know what you can accomplish …
So, what do you have to do? Well, there are a number of options:
· Every Wednesday at 8pm (UK Time) we ask you to spend some time (15 – 30 minutes is fine, more if you can manage it) sending healing to Scotland, the land, its people and all things associated with them. If you are not a practising healer, simply intend that positive energies, healing, Love, Light (whichever you feel comfortable with) flow to all these things. If it helps, you can visualise Scotland in 3D or on a map and focus your thoughts on it, intending that your vision become brighter, Lighter and positive – flood the picture with bright Light/Love for as long as you feel able. Alternatively, surround Scotland with a bubble of white Light/Love and intend that this Light becomes stronger and Lighter with each breath you take. Whichever method you use, know you are making a difference.
If you are not available at 8pm, don’t worry! The power of intention is strong: when you do have an opportunity, send your healing with the intention that it be programmed to begin at 8pm. Trust me, this works!! Obviously, those who are attuned to Reiki can use the Distance Symbol with similar results.
· If you are not keen on the first option, simply focus on whatever makes you feel happy and positive about Scotland. This could be the landscape; a favourite walk; the forests; the birdlife; the sight and sound of a singing, cheering rugby crowd; music – the choice is entirely yours and if you want, you can change it each time you focus. The main thing is the way they make you feel. Maintain these thoughts for a few minutes, have them in the back of your mind all day, or decide to focus on them in spare time – it doesn’t really matter how long we do this but by constantly feeling that happy glow and sending positive thoughts towards the subject, we will further empower the object of our attentions and ourselves!
· Another way of becoming involved is to set up an ‘intention space’. Gather together things you associate with Scotland, eg photos, pine cones, flowers, flag, CDs, and set them aside where they will not be disturbed but where you can see them often. (You could also write out your intentions and include that.) Every time you pass them or want to add something (or maybe even dust!!) focus on sending healing or positive thoughts to all they represent - the more you do this, the more it will become second nature.
· One of the easiest ways to take part is simply to say thank you for all the good things in Scotland and in your lives here. The more you do this, the more you will have to be thankful for!
· One final suggestion for those interested in geology or crystal healing is to spend time focussing on Scotland’s stones – its quartzes especially are powerful transmitters and amplifiers of energy – empowering them with positive energies and Light will reap huge dividends.
By the way, we do all have spare time available!! What about the time we spend sitting in the bus en route to work, in the shower or bath, weeding the garden, raking leaves, walking the dog, watching dreadful adverts on TV … You don’t have to spend hours on this project, but realise that every little helps and it’s infinitely better than doing nothing at all!
I send Blessings to Christine who sent me the above.
