The Junta de Andalucía, in the form of Tourism Councillor, Paulino Plata, has said that Torremolinos, together with Chiclana, Conil, Tarfia and Aracena, can apply for economic help worth upto 1.8 million €.
The money goes to those municipalities considered to be Tourist Towns, but in Torremolinos case there is a problem. The town has to seal its solid waste tip, which the councillor said yesterday has already been fined by the regional government.
